Community Sports Fund

Nottinghamshire County Council have now announced that the next round of funding for the Community Sports Fund is now open.

The Community Sports Fund (CSF) is a grant aid scheme aimed at helping local sports clubs and organisations located within the county of Nottinghamshire by supporting projects that encourage additional people to get involved in sport, or retain those who would otherwise cease to be involved.

The award is a maximum of;

  • £1500 for Clubmark clubs
  • £1000 for other organisations and clubs that haven’t achieved Clubmark

The minimum amount that can be applied for is £500 and only one application will be considered in any financial year.

Awards will be made to successful applicants to help with costs such as;

  • Coaching fees
  • Facility hire
  • Equipment costs
  • Publicity costs

Any awarded funding must be spent within 12 months.

The closing date for applications is Friday 7 June 2013 for projects to start from October 2013. You will be informed of the decisions by August 2013.

Please follow the link below to submit an application – please take time to read through all the guidance notes and application questions so you have all the information to hand before completing the online form. Unfortunately once you have started the application you cannot save it and go back to complete at a later date.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with myself, Shaun Hird, Sarah Williams (County Club Development Officer) or your NGB officer if you require any additional support.

Good luck!

Many thanks,
